Sanding a Blythe Doll's Face

...without popping the head open.

Here’s what I did…

Take 400 (or up) grid sandpaper sheet, which cost me $1.09 before tax at Ace Hardware…

Cut sheet into easier to handle pieces.

Cover Eyes with paper triangles (a la this awesome tutorial)

Buff face beginning on the back of the head in a circular motion. I left Blanche’s lips on, but if you buff them off too, make sure not to loose any of the contour of her lips by rubbing too hard. I am thinking about going over Blanche’s face once more with an 800 grid piece of sandpaper in order to smooth out some areas. So, if you are wondering what grit to buy, I would suggest buying two or more to experiment with.
