I’ve been so busy lately; ruby group, getting ready to go to New York and blythe con site design have been taking up all of my extra time. So, I’m sure my girls are feeling neglected.

Ok, I guess that answers that question.

Girl, you need to go get some clothes on. You’re going to visit your friends tomorrow, and you can’t go naked.

Anyways, a few lessons learned from ruby group are:
  • if you are being a total idiot & notice that a field appears to be written out to the db (no errors), but isn’t making it into the db, you might have a duplicate field. Just a warning!
  • in the rails script/console, you can use tab complete to view a more complete list of rails methods beginning with some word or part of a word

Essential SVN (for use on the run)
svn propedit svn:ignore db\schema.rb
svn revert -R
svn commit -m "did cool stuff"
svn update
svn co http://tools.assembla.com/svn/atlrug/atlrug01/trunk/atlrug01/ atlrug01 you can’t check out our code unless you are apart of our assembla group, but soon you might be able to, but here’s the repository anyways

Ok, ok! I know you need some TLC; I’m coming.

Oh man! I feel so guilty that you’re putting so much time into the BlytheCon site! I hope that you get some rest.

The girls will definitely need to cover up their naughty bits for their visit! Not that we’re a prudish bunch or anything, but I’m afraid that Molli will start running around nekkid too. :)

See you guys tomorrow! Made some cupcakes tonight and I’m worried they’re too fragile to eat without a fork. I put them in the fridge to see if they’ll (hopefully) set up a little. I’m such a terrible cook.

Work was crazy on Friday, so I’m off to write up the FAQs for the BlytheCon site. I’ll have them for you tomorrow.

    Later! Linda

She is being SO patient! Thanks (in advance, obviously) for working with Blythe con…. I can’t wait to see the site! xoxo Greta

@Linda: Teehee, thank goodness the girls got dressed. The cupcakes we’re fabulous. Phil wanted more cupcakes (I believe his exact words were, “That’s good shit”); what a pig! Don’t get any ideas. He is already spoiled. :-)

@Greta: Maddie knows how to get things done. Yea BlytheCon! I am so excited to be involved. I think the event is going to be really fun.
